Chris Byrne – Contemporary Vocals and Guitar
Chris Byrne has been heavily involved in the Sydney, Newcastle and Central Coast music scenes for well over a decade. He has played at some of the state’s most prominent venues alongside some big names like The Whitlams, Thirsty Merc and The Superjesus just to name
a few.
In 2006 Chris earned the No. 1 chart position in the first week of the Triple J Unearthed competition. A few months later he was chosen as an artist in the spotlight for a week and
to date he has racked up over 10,000 listens and 4,000 downloads on that site alone.
In addition to that Chris won the 2007 Adult Contemporary section of the 1233 ABC Music Awards for his song Glide, and was a 2008 Finalist in the Contemporary section for the song Follow The Sun. Contact us for a current gig listing.
